The Center’s museum includes an assortment of traditional Bulgarian and Balkan musical instruments, including:

Tambura – a plucked, stringed instrument similar to a lute
Kaval – an end-blown flute
Duduk – a whistle flute
Gaïda – a bagpipe
Gadulka and gusla – bowed, stringed instruments
Tupan – a large, double-headed cylindrical drum
Tarambuke – a smaller drum, with a single vibrating body that belongs to the family of membranophones
Assorted bells, clappers, rattles, and tongs
