Contra Dances – May 3 & 10

Dance lessons at 7:30 pm
Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for students

Contra dancing is all the rage, and you can find it at the Bulgarian Club. Contra is a folk dance made up of long lines of couples. It has mixed origins from English country dance, Scottish country dance, and French dance styles in the 17th century. The Country Dance and Song Society of PittsburghContra Dance Network will be holding a number of events at the Center through May. Here’s the lineup:
