The BMNECC's Performing Ensemble Otets Paissii will take part in the 56th annual Pittsburgh Folk Festival, which will be held at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh, April 19 and 20, 2013. Our children's group performs at 12:30 pm on Saturday and that evening our full ensemble hits the stage at 8:30 pm

We'll be selling handcrafted Bulgarian gifs, such as jewelry and our beautiful ceramic kitchenware, in the Folk Festival Bazaar.

And please stop by the Bulgarian Center at 9:00 pm after the Folk Festival on April 20, for our special Festival Vecherinka. It's our liveliest folk dance of the year and has been a BMNECC tradition since 1956. There will be live music, plenty of warm and tasty treats, and a cash bar, too.
