Teaching methods

As far as teaching methods, in addition to direct teaching, interactive resources, which are broadcast on a large screen in the classroom are part of the school session. Children complete interactive exercises and tests that have been developed for each lesson in each subject. The educational interactive platform "Ucha Se" (I am Learning) is also used. It includes a specially developed curriculum for children studying abroad. The individual lesson units are short educational entertaining movies using different stories with the same characters, ending with a test to check the acquired knowledge. Along with the study of the Bulgarian language such as speech, grammar, and spelling, priority is given to the development of children's communicative skills in Bulgarian, as well as to the enrichment of their vocabulary.

Bulgarian as a Second Language

This program teaches children conversational Bulgarian. It covers the foundation of the language and incorporates key geographical, historical, and traditional facts about Bulgaria. It is oriented towards families for which Bulgarian is not frequently the language of communication in the household. While it currently caters to children, the program is scalable enough to be taught to interested adults as well.
