This braided bread is popular during Easter, both for eating at home and also for sharing and giving as a gift. It is made from a sweet yeast dough similar to Challah dough. This year Jak is offering both a plain version and a ‘special’ with raisins, candied peel, and slivered almonds. As an aside, it makes perfect French Toast.
